Those of us who hold progressive views that emphasize unity among and solidarity with all US citizens — and who hold the rare and unique privilege to vote — have an obligation to the good people of the world we live in to cast our vote this year for sure — regardless of how we feel about the broken systems that have enabled the current political pandemic or about the rival candidate’s value.
Bannon and his team of senators, governors and judges — who feel very strongly that the wheels of American progress should be turned back to an era when non-Europeans were physically and legally controlled by the so-called “Founding Fathers” — have already begun their work to destroy and reconstruct the bulwarks of American society, using an immature trust-fund baby as a cannonball aimed at shattering the very heart of the American Dream.
